LifeSite News reports that on June 5,the President of Brazil, Luiz Lulu launched the First National Conference of Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transvestites and Transexuals (GLBT) with the sole purpose of promoting and defending homosexuality. He also issued a decree calling for a "time of reparation", so that Brazilians can "open and purify their minds."
He also added that homophobia is perhaps "the most perverse disease impregnated in the human head."
Those who control and define the language control and define the debate, so let's get something clear once and for all: Opposition to homosexuality is NOT a phobia. "Phobia" is a Greek name for "fear". Most of the people I know who oppose homosexuality are not afraid of homosexuals. This is patent nonsense that demonizes the opposition before the debate can even start.
Brazil's Human Rights Secretary Paulo Vanucchi said:
"Homophobia is incompatible with democracy."
Toni Reis, President of Brazilian Assocation of Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transvestites and Transsexuals, proclaimed:
"We will stop at nothing to approve gay rights."
These impassioned words bring to mind a couple of literary references. In The Brothers Karamazov, Ivan Karamazov says:
"...for every individual, like ourselves, who does not believe in God or immortality, the moral law of nature must immediately be changed into the exact contrary of the former religious law, and that egoism, even to crime, must become not only lawful but even recognised as the inevitable."
And in Shakespeare's Macbeth, the witches chant: "Fair is foul and foul is fair."
Evil ultimately contradicts the moral order by having us believe that what was good is now bad and what was bad is now good.
Even so, we now have the president of the country with the world's largest Catholic population essentially telling us:

Should we notify the World Health Organization about this massive disease problem?
Oh, and let us not forget what President Lulu would have us praise, honor and venerate:

Finally, meditate on this:

well, if that's the case, i'm glad to be infected.
Most of the people I have met who are "gay" or "lesbian," either had been molested as a child, raped, and/or have some clear hormonal imbalance, that could easily be treated with various medicines and even some "alternative" medicine. As I mentioned in another post, the problem of PCOS in 1/10 of women. Not every woman that has PCOS considers herself a lesbian, of course! However, from looking at the photos of lesbians and knowing them in person, there are many women who consider themselves lesbians that must have PCOS.
I say they're not just trying to destroy marriage, but even basic friendships. I remember the teasing that would come if you were friends with someone of the same sex and spent a lot of time with them. That used to just be having a good friend. Now it has to be a cover-up for some gay affair! UGH. St. Michael, protect us!
